To touch a horse is to touch the heart.
Horse as Partner and Coach.
If you’ve been in the presence of horses, you know the sense of awe, connection, and stillness that they can provide. Horses bring their heightened sensory awareness to every coaching session, and help to support human growth and development in areas of mindfulness, leadership, intention, and joy.
Through equine-assisted learning and coaching programs, you'll be able to connect with the power of horses that can result in life-changing personal and professional outcomes. Our ground-based (non-riding) programs focus on helping clients develop stronger leadership skills, greater levels of confidence and resilience, and personal transformation.
The horses love partnering with humans, and particularly enjoy individual sessions, teams and team development, and small-group formats where 8-10 humans gather for rich equine experiences.
From corporate teams to student leadership organizations to groups of humans seeking greater connections to self, inner wisdom, and the power of Horse, The HumanSide's Equine programs will ignite your curiosity, desires, and potential.

Horse as Leadership Expert.
Why do horses make such perfect partners in leadership development?
Horses live in the present. They don't spend time thinking about yesterday and what they could have done better, and they certainly aren't planning and plotting for tomorrow or next week. They simply live in the present 100% of the time, and they use their intuition and all five senses for survival.
As humans, we tend to rely on logic for survival, and use our five senses to just a portion of their capacity.
Horses, on the other hand, rely completely on their senses for survival. In the wild, horses use their acutely heightened senses to find food, water and shelter. They use them to thrive as a herd member. And most importantly, they use their acutely heightened senses to escape danger.
They can see nearly 360 degrees around them. They can hear things up to a mile away. They feel the vibrations of the earth with all four feet, and can also sense a teeny little fly landing on their back. And most importantly, they use their intuition to interpret the world around them. When we partner with horses in executive coaching and experiential learning, we gain insights and appreciation about our own intuition and leadership styles.
Horses are the perfect partners to help us learn about presence, intuition, and inner wisdom that can allow us to access - and better trust - our own internal wisdom.
